Narrative Cities

The Narrative Cities brief was to locate a space within London that communicated to you through its surrounding area. The area that communicated to me was the walkway underneath London Bridge, as not only has London Bridge had a troubled past, but the commuters, tourists and school children that passed through this area all had sad and miserable faces. I decided to design something that would cheer the people up that passed through the area. A poem was written and placed in the walkway, split up by verses that would lead you on a journey. Sadly it wasn’t up for long, but that is another story for the Bridge to tell…
