Larger Than Life

Larger than life was a University project, in which I had to design two different book covers on  stories we had created whilst visiting Dungeness and Camber Sands beaches. The horror story ‘Old Bolty’ was designed for Dungeness and was based around a bolt action shotgun. The cover was created by photocopying typography, then slicing it and re-photocopying it onto a 250gsm textured paper. The second book ‘Simply Sheldon’ used the same technique of photocopying and enlarging. The image of the crab was scanned in and printed with a light blue background onto a 160gsm satin paper.
